I wholeheartedly disagree with almost everything you have written.

No, you should not have to defend yourself from men. Blacks should not have to defend ourselves from white people. Full stop.

Pity them and ignore them? Who do you ignore being shot, choked, and beaten? And why should I pity them exactly?

You claim that you are “sick to your gut” with seeing black death then immediately. You even state that it happens for “no reason” then you turn around and tell us what we could have and should have done differently.

Hoods are the problem? So it was Trayvon’s fault?

You don’t want good people like me executed on the road, or in our homes.

With that said what could Breonna Taylor, Botham Jean, Aiyana Jones, or Amadou Diallo have done differently?

Then you have the audacity to end by saying that blacks should shift OUR mindset from "not our responsibility" to "they require help."

You have the gall to lay the responsibility of reforming our would-be murderers and abusers.

Since you get a “good feeling” from helping people why don’t you help us by educating YOUR people?

Why don’t you do the work? Oh right, because blacks would lose the opportunity to feel the warm and fuzzies.

Thank you for being a prime example of why this story was written.
